WHAT IS LES MILLS STRENGTH DEVELOPMENT 12 week program?

LES MILLS Strength Development is a 12 week program that is aimed at people wanting to get stronger. This class will help build muscle, improve technique and grow confidence for people wanting to lift weights in the studio and on the gym floor.

This program stands apart from the regular GROUP classes, featuring a series of 12 progressive workouts that deliver exceptional results. With an innovative approach and a team of experts behind it, LES MILLS Strength Development promises to transform your fitness journey.

LES MILLS Strength Development is grounded in exercise science, ensuring that every workout is safe and effective. A 12-week study conducted in collaboration with Auckland University of Technology (AUT) demonstrated impressive results. Participants experienced an average increase of 15% in their one-rep-max (1RM) for deadlifts, 9% for squats, and 7% for bench presses. FAQ's

All you need to bring to the class is comfortable workout clothes and runners, a water bottle and a towel. All equipment needed for the class will be available in the studio.

This class is suitable for all levels of fitness. The instructors will provide options throughout the class to suit everyone. We reckonmend to start with light weights or even just a bar if it’s your first time. If you are pregnant we recommend talking with your doctor or midwife who will advise you appropriately as they have the best knowledge of your medical history.

We recommend no more than 2-3 classes a week. Speak to our instructors who will be happy to advise you better to your fitness levels.
